4MHHPA is produced by hydrogenation from MTHPA.
It is used mainly as a hardener for epoxy resin.
To compare with amine hardener, 4MHHPA is low viscosity liquid of light color and low in volatility.
Potlife is considerably longer than amines.
Electrical and mechanical properties of cured resins compare favorablywith these based on amine hardeners. 4MHHPA is hydroscopic and should be protected from light and moisture.

Main Application
Mainly used for epoxy resin curing agent. MHHPA is a heating curing anhydride curing agent, mainly used in electrical and electronic fields, it has the advantages of low melting point, low viscosity of the compounds composed with alicyclic epoxy resins, long applicability period, high heat-resistance of cured products, good high-temperature electrical properties, etc., it can be used for impregnation of coils of electrical equipments and casting of electrical components and sealing of semiconductors, such as outdoor insulators, capacitors, Light-emitting diodes, digital tubes, etc.
