Product Description

EPH, ethylene glycol phenyl ether, is a clear, colorless liquid with a mild, not unpleasant odor.

The presence of aromatic and aliphatic structural elements in the molecule of EPH results in a substance that is characterized by high organic solubility, low water solubility and a low water content.

EPH also exhibits very good film-forming aid properties.

EPH is used as a preservative in cosmetics and has a wide range of antibacterial activities.It is effective against both Gram negative and Gram positive bacteria, as well as yeast, but has a weak inhibitory effect on the intrinsic microbiota of the skin.
